Have you ever worried that if something happened to you, your

family's photos might disappear with you?

Learn how to actually  USE

your  photos to

tell your family's story.

This class is only offered twice a year so don't miss out!

If you are reading this, you are most likely your family's memory keeper - an awesome but monumental job.

You know that you should be creating a visual legacy for your kids but you either have never QUITE gotten around to creating the things that will ensure that your family's story is treasured  OR you have created scrapbooks and photo albums that you are now realising are not at all what your kids are going to want in 10, 20, 30 years.

Just imagine if you could sleep at night knowing that you have documented your most important family stories.

That you can finally stop stressing that you haven't "done anything" with your photos.

What if you had photo books and videos that you can enjoy now?  And preserve for your kids?

How would that feel? Amazing?

You can absolutely make this your reality with the help of my class

How to Create a Family Visual History

A four-week live class that will move you from stressing about your photos to confidently using them to tell your family's stories.  This class is only offered twice a year so don't miss out!

By the end of this 4-week course, you will not only have a plan for telling your stories and creating your family visual history but you will have created a project that visually documents one of the most important parts of your history and that of your family.

You will be amazed at how creating photo books and videos will become fun, meaningful, EASY and have longevity for the future.  (and no - we are not talking about archival paper).

When you finish this class, you will feel so much joy and pride at what you have accomplished and created.

Imagine your grown children begging to watch your videos again and again at Christmas.

Or your teenagers staring at you in disbelief when you tell them you created a family You Tube Channel.

How good would that feel?

Or when you present a photo book to your friend that showcases years of memories you both have forgotten existed.

You will be motivated to keep going.  And you will have the support to make it happen.

So... if a meaningful family visual history is on your dream board, what are you waiting for?

This is the class for you.

>>>>Four Live Classes Over Zoom (See schedule below):

Week 1: Create your Family Visual History Plan and Define Your Story

Together we will define your memory values, establish your goals, and choose your story (stories).  At the end of this week, you will have a clear plan for your visual family history including your first project and a collection of additional stories you want to tell.

Week 2: The Visual Representation.

This is where you learn to cull and curate your collection. In week 2 we will dig into the details of what needs to be included in your project. What are the highlights? What photos support the story are you telling? You will learn about photographic elements, types of shots and how to use emotion in your photos to tell your visual story.  You will pick the photos and videos that are to be included in your project and use them to map out your visual history story.

Week 3: Create Your Project

In Week 3, we will explore the media options for your creation (photo books, ebooks, videos, slideshows and cloud-based libraries).  We will discuss the pros and cons of various companies with an emphasis on making sure you have electronic versions of your projects as well as print.  I will teach you how to set up your system for creating using either a photobook company, Lightroom Classic or Canva so you will have a repeatable workflow.

Week 4: Show Off Your Work

After the holidays, you will join the Memory Curator Mastermind, share your work, and continue on a journey of creating and accountability with likeminded memory keepers on a monthly basis.

You will learn how to use the following services and platforms for making projects.

>>>> Private class portal where the recordings of all teaching calls and pdfs of the lessons are stored. Access never expires.

>>>> Ongoing Mastermind: Once the class concludes you have the option to come to our monthly Memory Curator Mastermind catchups for sharing your projects, learning and accountability.

Your Instructor is Allison Lee of The Memory Curator

Hi, I am Allison. I am a mum of two kids and a professional photographer. I have 160,000 photos in my personal collection and another 200,000 in my client collection. Just from the last 8 years! So I know that photo overwhelm is REAL. So I set out to create a system that worked for me and gave me peace of mind that I could always find the photos I wanted when I wanted them AND so could anyone else. And the bonus of getting organised was that I also got to enjoy my photos in ways that I wasn't before. Now I can find any photo at any time and I know my photos are safe. I often can hear my kids giggling in the other room as they browse through photobooks that I have made through the years. It is one of my favourite sounds in the world!
